I started reading CREEM magazine and Rolling Stone interviews in middle school, hoping I would find a top-secret tip on how I could sneak onto Neil Young’s Northern California ranch. Turns out, I got sucked into a literary world where writers dissect music and pop culture and place its importance (or its lack thereof) in our overarching society.
I’m a bicoastal freelance writer currently based in New York City. Check out my new virtual interview series “Liz on Mondays,” presented by Lucid Monday. My musical taste ranges from 100 gecs to early Aerosmith only (Get Your Wings) to Elliott Smith. My writing has appeared in Variety, EARMILK, The Wild Honey Pie, and on the wall of my third grade classroom. I graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in English and Music Industry and am currently Editor in Chief of Lucid Monday’s print publication.
